Our RhönSchön vacation home is located below the Ebersburg castle ruins and is part of the health resort town of Poppenhausen (Wasserkuppe); it features two separate vacation apartments (Wachtküppel and Ebersburg)
The vacation home offers you a beautiful view of the Hessian and Bavarian Rhön. From here, you have ideal opportunities for excursions to places such as Milseburg, Wasserkuppe, Guckaisee, and Kreuzberg Monastery…
Day trips to nearby towns—such as the Baroque city of Fulda, the spa town of Bad Kissingen, or Bad Brückenau—are also highly recommended and easily accessible.
Shopping options and local and international dining are just a 5-minute drive away.
The “Wachtküppel” apartment is located in the basement, has a separate entrance, measures 60 square meters, and features a cozy living/dining room, a bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. Bed linens and towels are included in the price.
In addition, the beautifully landscaped garden features a cozy terrace with barbecue facilities.
A separate, lockable garage is available for bicycles you bring with you.
A free parking space is available in front of the house for the apartment.

Apartment for 2 people, everything works, very clean and comfortable.
The location near Ebersgurg Ruin is fantastic, great view and good starting point for nice walks in the area from the home.
Nice garden with bbq and good view, some trees needs trimming. We will come back to this place.
