When making a booking request please include information on the age range of the guests intending to stay and your plans for while you are in Taupō.
We have a strict no large group or parties policy, disruption to the neighbours will not be tolerated. If we are notified of parties or illegal activity you will be evicted.
You will be required to complete a check in form prior to arrival (excluding identity verified, Airbnb accounts) which will include a copy of your ID and the details of all guests intending to stay at the property. Failure to complete this form will result in the booking being cancelled.
The guest named on the booking is responsible for the property for the duration of the stay and must take all reasonable care of the house. For breakages or damages be aware that you will be charged for the repair or replacement plus a 10% handling fee. It`s your responsibility to familiarise yourself with potential hazards or situations during the stay and take appropriate care or actions if needed.
All properties must be left reasonably clean and tidy, ensuring all furniture and appliances are returned to where they were. A general service clean is included, but if the property requires extra cleaning, you could be charged an additional $50.00 per hour, this includes BBQ’s, excess rubbish, soiled linen and odour removal.
All bookings are accepted on the basis that you have read, understand, and agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions and House Rules.

Excellent value. Quiet and private are 2 attributes that jump out. Negatives? Few, but no internet and no dryer were disclosed--not a surprise--but we are used to these being "standard". Also, we had to purchase (or "replenish") a number of things we don't usually need to. For example: Garbage bags, toilet paper, dish washing soap, paper toweling (there were no dish towels!--we even bought those).
Chocolates welcoming bag was much appreciated.

The property worked well for us. The beds were super comfy. The master bedroom had good closet space and the living room, kitchen and outdoor area were all large. The location was close to everything. Some challenges however: no-wifi (which we were aware of but still not ideal), no closet space in second bedroom, no hair-dryer, shower could do with updating, lots of rules - a one-bag rubbish rule (and not a large bag) was not something that friends staying in other houses were given so unsure if it is a council rule as documented, and microwave didn't work. These are not complaints, just feedback for property manager / owner to consider for improvements if wanted.
