We booked this property for a short break, visiting the North coast with my dad. Although we live in N Ireland and have been to the North Coast it was our first stay in Bushmills. The property was immaculately clean and well furnished, with good quality beds and it catered for all our needs. The view from the living room across the fields and river Bush was really nice and we enjoyed a beautiful sunset over the fields one evening. The property is well located just a couple of minutes from the centre of Bushmills. I enjoyed going for a walk along the river Bush with the path being closeby. We also went on the Causeway Heritage tram which leaves from Bushmills station across the road and goes to the Giants Causeway. This is also a walking route which goes along the coast at Runkerry beach - it was amazing to have this on the doorstep. Communication from Janice was very good and I would recommend this property.

We had a lovely weekend at Janice's flat in Bushmills. The flat was spacious compared to many flats in the UK - two bedrooms, hall, plus a decent-sized bathroom and spacious living area / kitchen. It was a bit luxurious for just us two (myself and my partner), but given it was what was available over the bank holiday I think we lucked out!The view from the living room and first bedroom was lovely - you could see the River Bush flowing across the fields below the A2 (the main road behind the flat). The windows are big too so this is easy to enjoy. In good weather you can also use the (communal) patio behind the rooms, although it was quite rainy and windy when we went, so we unfortunately did not use that.Unfortunately, the flat is on the raised ground floor and the back is quite close to the A2, therefore you can hear some road noise, even thru double-glazed windows - this is especially true at weekends/bank holidays, given that many caravans and buses going to the Giant's Causeway use the A2. My own home is on a quiet street so I'm not used to this, so it's probably not that bad in absolute terms. Road noise is anyway less bad in the second bedroom if it is a problem. The kitchen was well-stocked (although we had to buy our own tea), and the place was super clean! Only point of feedback I would give is that the duvet is 13.5 tog - this will be far too heavy if you are a warm sleeper, so I'd adjust the heating accordingly.

I recently stayed at a fantastic short-term rental in Bushmills, and it exceeded all my expectations. The location is perfect, with an array of dining options just a short walk away. Whether you're in the mood for fish and chips, or a fine dining experience, you'll find something to satisfy your taste buds. One of the highlights of this rental is its proximity to the Bushmills Distillery. Being able to walk to this historic distillery and enjoy a tour and tasting session was a real treat. Additionally, the rental offers easy access to the Giant’s Causeway, one of Northern Ireland's most iconic natural attractions. It's just a short drive away, making it convenient to explore this UNESCO World Heritage site. The property itself was spotless and well-maintained, reflecting a high standard of cleanliness. The host (Janice) was incredibly communicative and supportive throughout our stay, ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall, this rental in Bushmills is a gem. With its superb location, immaculate condition, and outstanding host, it made our visit truly memorable. I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to this beautiful part of Northern Ireland.
