Tra mare e castello

Exceptional host and family members who helped us arrive and handle bags up to the third floor (location was clearly noted on advertisement), great introduction, lovely apartment that was clean, quiet, well equipped. Host went out of his way to help us during our stay; and he arranged contact for us to engage car travel back to Rome airport on day of a national train strike. Nearby Supermarket and fruit shop up short local hill. Also,it was only few minutes' walk on level ground to old city and dozens of cafes and restaurants. Property only a few minutes' walk to the beach and two or three bars and coffee place For someone with a car, there seemed to be plenty of onsite parking.

Location didn't seem to be served by buses - maybe it was a seasonal matter - but easy walk to the old town and local services; so, it was not important

From beginning to end Tra mare e castello was a very enjoyable experience and I recommend it highly. Host Carlo and his sister warmly greeted me to hand over keys and give clear instructions on how to use everything in the apartment. The place was very clean, the bed comfortable with extra bedding if needed (also a crib for families). There were plenty of towels for my 5-day stay, with lots of toiletries, and the shower was good-sized and the bathroom was also very clean. Having a washing machine was wonderful, and there were lots of places to hang laundry inside and out for quick drying (the child safety bar in front of the hallway radiator was great for drying socks and undershirts). I used the kitchen every day for making breakfast and dinner, and it was well stocked with pans, bowls and tableware. The apartment is just across the street from the Aragonese Castle, minutes from Centro Storico, and groceries, restaurants and coffee shops just a few steps away. Take time if you can to visit (and feed) the many cats on Viale Amerigo Vespucci - they were a highlight of my trip.

I admit I had too much luggage. The building has several stairs to the entry, and the apartment is on the third level. And after trekking around town each day on foot (including two trips to the end of the harbor breakwater, and two trips to the train station, both a mile each way), I knew I could end my walks with a cardio workout:) At 71, it was tough at times. But exercise is good, right?

Abbiamo soggiornato solo una notte di Novembre ma ci siamo trovati benissimo. Casa nuova e pulitissima, ambiente caldo, letti comodissimi, bagno grande. Con pochi minuti si raggiunge il centro storico. Proprietario disponibilissimo per qualsiasi cosa. Consigliato. Torneremo sicuramente.

Отличные апартаменты по все критериям. Встретил приятный и дружелюбный хозяин, который до последнего дня был на связи и отвечал на все вопросы. В квартире чисто и есть все необходимое. Квартира укомплектована всей необходимой техникой и мебелью. Отличное месторасположение, рядом большой супермаркет, платный и бесплатный пляж, кафе и рестораны. Наша семью осталась очень довольна. Желаем хозяину и его семье удачи и самых лучших и дружелюбных гостей!
