Villa Claudia

The property was quite well maintained and offered stunning views of the town of Lefkada and the mainland. It is conveniently located just a 10-minute drive from Lefkada Town. The local host/manager, Vassia was exceptionally kind, helpful and always responded promptly to our questions. The property was very clean, with housekeeping provided twice during our 14-day visit. There were three full bathrooms, which was convenient for our group. Overall, the property offered reasonable value for money.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had no major issues. The property is not a standalone villa, but rather consists of two small, (semi) independent units, each with its own entrance. This arrangement has some advantages, but it also presents certain practical challenges. For our family, it made cooking/ dining together more inconvenient and leaving the children with their grandmother while we went out difficult, as this layout was not really suitable for such arrangement. The two units are also adjacent to another similar property. Although we were not disturbed at all by the kind gentleman staying next door, there is limited privacy compared to what most people would expect from a private villa. The complete lack (not mentioned in the ad) of English or Greek TV channels was an issue and came across as disrespectful/discriminatory to some guests. Unfortunately, this remained the case even after I mentioned it to the local host. The parking was sufficient for 2/3 cars, although parking per se was not super convenient. A small suggestion for the owners: replacing the artificial grass with natural would enhance the appearance.

Πολύ άνετο. Πολύ καλή τοποθεσία (πανοραμική θέα της πόλης). Άριστη εξυπηρέτηση και συνεννόηση. Το σπίτι ανταποκρίνεται στην περιγραφή και περιλαμβάνει πολλές ανέσεις. Η περιοχή είναι ήσυχη. Η πισίνα καθαρίζετε συχνά.

Το ίντερνετ παρουσιάζει σποραδικά κάποιες δυσκολίες σύνδεσης με ορισμένες συσκευές. Η τηλεόραση έχει πρόσβαση μόνο σε γερμανικά κανάλια (είναι όμως start tv και αν κάποιος έχει λογαριασμό netflix μπορεί να το χρησιμοποιήσει). Στο μικρό μπάνιο του πάνω ορόφου δεν φεύγουν εύκολα τα νερά από το πάτωμα πιθανώς λόγω κατασκευαστικου λάθους. Το σπίτι δεν περιλάμβανε τακτικό καθάρισμα (ανά 3-4 ημερες), μας εφεραν όμως καθαρες πετσέτες και σεντόνια όταν ζητήσαμε.
