Tenby Cottage with Parking

The house was in a good location. Easy to walk to the town and convenient for the Sainsbury. Nice to have parking although it was tight.

This cottage is definitely not clean The kitchen is very poorly equipped - complete mismatch of china and glasses and many were cracked Definitely not enough equipment for a family of six Not even a tumbler for a soft drink Shelf broken in fridge door Coffee cup put away unclean and still wet coffee round rim Nice electric wood burning stove but the fuse had been removed so unable to use it and I was cold Bed quite comfortable but no mattress protector and the mattress was stained Pillows flat like pancakes Duvet cover in front bedroom had a huge stain on it Blind in front bedroom broken Bathroom had lots of mould on grouting and around bath After we left we received a text asking if we had taken dogs to the cottage as the cleaners felt there was a ‘dog’ smell. No we don’t have dogs - the cottage just smells!

The house had plenty of space. Close to walking distance to town. Comfortable beds. Nearly Everything you need.

Parking was terrible getting in and out . No outdoor seating or an area that wasn’t covered in weeds to sit out or rubbish bags. Also dead bird that had been there a long time. Pillows are like pancakes. Bedroom blind broken. No fan in bathroom so caused mould. Needs a freezer or a compartment in the fridge for ice ice blocks etc . Funny musty smell in dining area like old dirty furniture or carpets. It says it’s suitable for disability but no shower downstairs and the stairs are so steep going up. Not my standard of cleaning , dust smeared mirrors and black mould round shower( haven’t the cleaners heard of a toothbrush and bleach). Hard to step into a slippy bath for over bath useless shower .Bathroom is big enough for a walk in shower. I agree with another review the cleaners need to up their game or you need diff cleaners. A bit of money ( not talking thousands )spent on this and it would be perfect.

Nice location as it was a short walk to town and the beaches.

It was lacking a lot of basic items: only one bin bag, not much toilet paper, no dish cloths. Behind the sofas hadn't been cleaned in a long time. A chair in the living room had a broken leg but was propped up precariously. Communication from the host was poor. The sofa bed was not comfortable at all.
