Rare House

Ajun and his family made my stay so lovely. I would definitely come back. The apartment was perfectly clean and I enjoyed practicing my limited Indonesian language with their son Austin. Ajun was very helpful and supplied transportation. The bed was really comfortable. The value for money was amazing. I highly recommend a stay here. It’s nice to be just outside the hustle and bustle of Ubud but still close enough.

Beautiful location and the apartment was exactly as pictured - clean and equipped with everything we needed. Our hosts were incredible and helped us with everything we needed.

We spent two amazing weeks in this lovely house surrounded by lush jungle. Every morning started with the sound of birds and the view of palm trees right from the balcony, pure magic :3 The house is well-equipped: comfy workspace with fast Wi-Fi (great for remote work), a real kitchen with a decent fridge, and plenty of storage space for all our stuff. It felt like living, not just staying. The host and his family live downstairs, and they were absolutely wonderful, always there when we needed help, but never intrusive. Just genuinely kind people <3 Yes, there are little jungle creatures on the open balcony sometimes, lizards, insects, but they added to the charm. Nothing scary, just nature doing its thing. Location is great: close to rice terraces and waterfalls, and you can get to Ubud center fairly quickly. Food and groceries get delivered without hassle. All in all, it was the kind of stay that makes you slow down, tune in to the local rhythm, and feel like you're living a small piece of Bali life. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for more than just a place to sleep!
