The Swan Lakehouse - Buff Point

The house is in a beautiful waterside location, with a lovely water view from the dining area. I enjoyed a peaceful morning walk along the foreshore, which was a wonderful way to start the day. Both bathrooms have been nicely renovated, and the kitchen was clean, tidy, and well equipped. The air conditioning worked well and kept the house warm and comfortable during the winter nights.

The step between the kitchen and living area, as well as the steep steps down to the main bedroom, were the main drawbacks. The edges are clearly marked to help make them more visible, but the layout can still be a little tricky to navigate, so it’s worth taking extra care. There is also no lock on the hallway bathroom used by the three guest bedrooms, which was a little inconvenient. Overall, the house was clean and tidy, which was consistent with previous reviews. However, we did notice some stains and hair on the sheets in the main bedroom and the bedroom closest to the front door. It would be great if the linen could be checked more carefully between guests. I ended up wearing my jumper to bed that night for extra comfort.

Minor things with TV being very small for the lounge room. However everything else was to scale. Plus lawns needed a mow (wet that week with weather due to a July stay).

Location and the house is clean and the kitchen is well equipped.

There were spiders in the entrance of the house and also found one crawling in the bedroom. We could see webs and eggs in the wall bricks just before you enter the house. Maybe it just needs pest control maintenance.

Location was great. It was clean and had all the required facilities and amenities. The place was also nicely decorated and convenient to shops, beaches, tourist destinations.

Nothing, it was all lovely. Perhaps another TV in main bedroom but that’s just a suggestion. Everything was great.
