After staying in hotels during our long family holiday around north Thailand, it was great to check in to this place with three separate bedrooms, two bathrooms and a lot of space. We hit this place just over Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day so we could give our kids a genuine Christmas feeling in a house like this. Everywhere in Chiang Rai is within a short drive, and there are plenty of places to eat and drink within a couple of minutes. Clean, spotless, comfortable. I loved it.

The house was exactly as shown in the photos—nice, cozy, and spotlessly clean. The right size of living room, dining, and kitchen, the master room is nice and bright, the other 2 rooms are small but it's fine. We didn’t meet the host in person, communication was smooth and responsive throughout our stay. We appreciate it provides bikes, which made it easy and fun to explore the surrounding area. While the house is slightly removed from the city center, we actually preferred the peaceful location. It’s quiet, green, and full of charm, with a riverside bike route (still under construction), and still close to shops and cafes, and even a large stadium nearby, perfect for a morning jog or evening stroll. All in all, we had a lovely time at the house and really enjoyed our stay.

While there were a few small things worth noting, they didn’t take away from the overall experience. The fridge is more hotel-sized, which felt a bit tight for a three-bedroom house, but we managed fine. It would also be helpful to have an extra cooking pan—there was only one, which made meal prep a bit of a juggling act. There’s some aircraft noise overhead, especially in the mornings. It didn’t bother us too much, but light sleepers might want to bring earplugs.
