Casa del Patito with Vista by Duckling Stays

Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, verfügt über eine schöne Terrasse mit Blick auf die umliegenden Berge. Das (Haupt-)Schlafzimmer ist sehr gemütlich und das Bett ist bequem. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es gibt auch Olivenöl, Essig und Gewürze. Alle Fenster sind mit Außenrollos versehen.

Die Nachbarn sind leider der einzige Nachteil dieser Unterkunft. Sie haben sich später in der Nacht gestritten und Sachen umher geschmissen. Man hat leider alles mitbekommen. Die Unterkunft ist leicht hellhörig und auf der Straße ist ziemlich viel los. Die Parksituation erfordert richtige Parkkünste - die Straßen sind sehr eng uns sehr sehr sehr steil.

Petite maison typique avec beaucoup de charme. Tres bien située dans la charmante ville de olvera, peu touristique, mais permet de bien sillonner la belle campagne et autres villages environnants, el gastor. Zahara....Ideale pour 2 adultes car il faut passer par la chambre parentale pour accéder à la salle de bain et toilettes et aussi à la terrasse. Communication fluide avec les propriétaires.

L accès à la seconde petite terrasse, qui est la photo mise en avant sur l annonce, se fait par une échelle. Ne peut pas convenir à tout le monde.

The aircon was great and the small patio was great too.

It had a ladder up to the top terrace. My wife wouldn't allow me to go up when I had some wine for dinner or having a sundowner drink as she thought I shouldn't go down steps with alcohol. Should have a microwave in kitchen.

This is a lovely little house on the edge of the old town - on a street with little traffic and lots of nice walks to do nearby. We had awful weather (it had rained for 6 weeks before our booked 1 week!) so everywhere was a little cold and damp, but when the clouds lifted... the views from the balcony, the upper terrace and from the main bedroom are really incredible. The house has a nice little kitchen, a washing machine, 1 good bathroom (the master en-suite) and a separate toilet. It's ideal for couples or small families.

I don't like leaving bad reviews, but I also base my decisions on reviews so it's best to be honest... The hosts were lovely and we've given them this feedback. I believe they'll do what they can to make it better - and they have just had a cold and wet winter which they're bouncing back from. Sadly the neighbours and their dogs next door were very loud every evening until late at night (past 11pm) - you can hear them clearly through the walls upstairs and downstairs. The owners have promised to have a word. One of the owners had just spent a month in the apartment before we visited - frustratingly this didn't mean that it had been as well checked over as we would have thought. Neither of the bikes pictured are in a usable condition. The drying rack is broken. The kitchen is missing some crucial items, such as wine glasses. The house hadn't had a deep clean - several rooms had dirty corners and surfaces, but the big issue was a bag of sugar in the kitchen that was damp. There were many maggots crawling round inside it and burrowing in to a big hole underneath - I won't upload the photo but it was disgusting, especially if the house has been both lived in and cleaned before we stayed.
