The apartment was a pleasant surprise after entering through a slightly sketchy area. It’s clean, well appointed and a decent size with full kitchen with full size refrigerator/freezer and washer /dryer.
The bed linens were comfortable. WiFi worked well.
The area around the apartment is rundown and unkempt. I didn’t like parking our car by the road, instead of outside our unit. Once we were in the apartment it felt safe. We just would have preferred a better parking spot off the road.

This was like borrowing a friend's apartment..
A few homeless people around but that te life fe in an urban setting. Every Iowa has homeless. And I said hello to a lady who stopped to sit a moment and she was polite. A very urban area. I hope my car is ok!
