Paphos Central Penthouse

A really beautiful house, equipped with everything you need and more for a comfortable, relaxing stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with excellent cooking equipment, the fridge dispenses cold water and ice cubes, and there’s a dishwasher and washing machine. Plenty of towels, air-conditioned rooms, and comfortable beds. The balcony overlooks the sea and creates a wonderfully pleasant atmosphere, and there’s loads of space to spread out and feel at home.

The house is built on a slope, so the whole structure descends by steps — both from the upper entrance and the lower one. At one point there are several fairly steep steps, which makes carrying luggage up and down harder even for fit, healthy people. Families with babies, older guests, or anyone with limited mobility should factor this in ahead of time. A few minor notes: the property could use a little more upkeep, and some older, unused items could be cleared out. The pool table needs minor repair (the felt is slightly torn, and the cues could be replaced) — but these are truly small things.

The property has many rooms, a large kitchen, and three bathrooms, so even a larger group has a place to sleep. Only one bathroom is in the room; the others are outside the rooms. There's a spacious balcony and working air conditioning. The kitchen is well equipped (microwave, oven, fridge with ice maker). Communicative owners. Late check-in possible.

Overall, it was relatively clean, but the kitchen didn't seem to have been cleaned after the season. The coffee machine didn't work, so in my opinion, it shouldn't have been mentioned in the listing. There was an unpleasant musty smell emanating from the kitchen cabinets. We had to wash some of the dishes ourselves before using them because they were still dirty. There is a pool table on site, but the owner only informs us after booking that pool is only open until 9 p.m. and parties are not allowed because the neighbors downstairs have a small child. We didn't come to party, but given the nature of this establishment, it could certainly be a factor for a large group of friends. Additionally, billiards is available for a fee per game, which I only learned about upon arrival, but I may have simply missed that in the listing. The chairs in the living room had been through a lot, several had almost broken backs. Hot water is available after turning on the heating, but it takes a while and may not be enough for everyone, even for a quick shower, with 9-10 people.

Amazing apartment with a great view. Everything has excellent quality. Beds are very comfortable.

Didn't receive the check in instructions on time. Was sorted out quickly. To play pool, you have to put money in.

Very clean, many bedrooms and bathrooms. Great airco as well. Perfect for a group.

The location was quite far away from the beach and the centre. Especially in the warm weather, walking 2-2.5 km is quite far.
