House Edelweiss by Holiday World

Location was good. Property was warm and comfortable.

Unfortunately our trip was overshadowed by communication with the staff to organise a late check in (we would be arriving at 8pm, check in closes at 7). After being told by the property to cancel as know one would be available to let us in at 8pm, we tried to cancel through booking.com but as it was non-refundable, the property would not allow us a refund even though they’d ask us to cancel. Communications were all in Italian and their last email telling me to cancel, also told me our ‘’conversation ends here’’. They then refused to have any further discussion, when we tried calling they’d hang up as we don’t speak Italian. We ended up having to re-book flights and car hire to suit the check in times at great expense to the group. At this point we weren’t even sure the property would let us in if we arrived at the right times as the last message had been so abrupt, booking.com couldn’t do anything until we arrived and found that the accommodation couldn’t deliver its terms of service. Once we arrived at the property, there was no one to let us in anyway as they’d left the door open with the keys inside… so it felt like we needn’t have gone to all the stress and expense of rearranging our travel plans anyway, awful- if they’d just communicated with us better this bad experience could’ve been avoided. Paying for linen seems like an extra that most guests would have to pay anyway, a couple of small essentials would be nice to leave in the property for guests only staying a night or two. Whilst cooking the power went out a couple of times, it’d be good to have instructions on how to switch this back on- we managed to find the fuse box which wasn’t in the property but some guidance on the sheet of information which already tells you this can happen would be useful.

Location

Checking in instructions were poor. Would have been helpful to know it was right opposite the cinema. Wasn’t aware linens and towels were extra and the property assumed we were a family not four adults and so beds had to be made up.

GOOD LOCATION

The property agent insisted that we pay the deposit by bank transfer before we arrived into their personal account and despite repeated efforts to contact the agent since our stay, they have not returned the deposit and are not even acknowledging our correspondence. We therefore now having to try to recover the 150 euros deposit through Booking.com

The house was cozy, very well located (close to the sky resort) and although was a small house, we felt each of us (a family of 6) had their own space. We will be back, that’s for sure.

First, Although I saw already in a review that you are charged for linen and towels, still feels odd, was the first time we needed to pay for such thing (something you may expect on a hostel, not when renting a holiday house) Another thing was that there were NO kitchen amenities at all, no dish soap, no paper towel, the same for the bathrooms, we were told these things are not provided, which seems odd. There is a supermarket not far away, where you can buy these things, but still feels like a rental house should include these things.

Comodità e suddivisione degli spazi perfetta, aver poi gli accessi separati da altri alloggi e doppio ingresso cosìcche con scarponi da sci non si debba entrare dall’ingresso principale ma dal garage senza allagar e sporcar la casa

Appartamento in buona posizione, di fronte alle piste di fondo e a 5 minuti a piedi dagli impianti di risalita, spazioso, caldo e adatto a una famiglia numerosa (3 camere da letto e 3 bagni) Posto macchina scoperto sul retro Cucinino piccolo ma con buona dotazione anche di materiale di consumo Durante le nevicate le scale di accesso all’appartamento e il posteggio sul retro vengono puliti più volte al giorno

La lavastoviglie era fuori uso e non è stata riparata durante tutto il nostro soggiorno Pulizia generale buona, scarsa quella profonda (ciuffi di polvere sotto ai letti e sopra gli armadi, chi è allergico patisce)

Casa ristrutturata, comodo ingresso dal retro soprattutto se si hanno indumenti da neve, posizione ottima

L'appartamento al nostro arrivo era in condizioni di pulizia pessime, abbiamo tolto subito i tappeti data la loro sporcizia ed abbiamo passato il primo pomeriggio a pulire il pavimento di tutta la casa. Abbiamo 1 bambino di 3 anni ed uno di 9 mesi ed era impensabile farli stare su un pavimento del genere. Abbiamo trovato una matassa di capelli sotto il letto, pavimento pieno di polvere capelli briciole ecc. su tutti i piani e le scale, bottigliette di acqua sul pavimento. Cedo sia stata fatta la pulizia solo dei bagni, vetro della sala, cucina e stanza dell'ingresso del retro. Appena arrivati ho contattato direttamente l'agenzia tramite email, non telefonicamente perchè era il 1 gennaio (festività), successivamente anche telefonicamente fornendo foto e video, ma non ho ricevuto risposte se non un ci dispiace da parte della signora che ha risposto alla chiamata. Nessuna risposta ad email e messaggi. Peccato non si possano caricare i video, si sarebbero viste bene le condizioni.

Huset og beliggenheden var rigtig god. Huset havde 3 toiletter, god plads til ting og lå rigtig godt i byen. Der er en lille gå tur til liften, men vi lejede et skab til skiene ved liften, og så var den lille gåtur på 5 min ikke noget problem. Den nye vært Fabiana var rigtig god at kommunikere med, og hun var hjælpsom hele vejen igennem.

Holiday World var umulige at få fat i op til afrejse. De skrev de måtte annullere vores tur 2 uger før afrejse, men der var heldigvis tale om en fejl. Den kontaktperson vi havde fået var slet ikke til at komme i kontakt med, og vi fik først kontaktoplysninger på en ny 1 dag før ankomst. Den nye vært Fabiana var rigtig hjælpsom og god, men al kommunikation inden var virkelig dårlig og mangelfuld! Stedet og huset levede bestemt op til vores forventninger. Men man skal leve med rigtig dårlig og mangelfuld kommunikation fra Holiday World.
