Walkable to DMK in 10 minutes - mostly covered from the rain. Good staff when I was there. Food nearby. Clean enough. Hot shower. Ear plugs provided if you are sensitive to street noise.

Breakfast is coffee and toast - not much, but more than nothing. Stairs only - if you need an elevator there is not one. Before COVID this would have been a $10 room. I guess all of Bangkok has inflated. But by walking you save more than you'd spend on a taxi by spending a tiny bit more on a room.

The location was good.

When I booked the hotel via booking.com, I was instantly asked what time I was checking in. I explained I didn't know the exact time and I would update them at least 24 hours before I checked in. Their response was rude, They said that I could cancel if I don't know the check in time. The customer service via the app was rude, but when I got to the hotel the lady I dealt with was very kind. Maybe they have some members of staff with bad customer service skills handling the email side of the business.
