I do not recommend this hotel based on the following serious issues experienced during my stay: 1. Unwelcoming and unprofessional front desk Despite having three staff members at the front desk during check‑in, I received no greeting. The same lack of basic courtesy occurred at check‑out. 2. Undisclosed deposit demanded I was asked to pay a 500 baht deposit on arrival. This requirement was not stated anywhere in the hotel’s terms and conditions or booking confirmation. 3. Passports held without return Staff photocopied my passport but did not return it until I specifically asked. Holding a guest’s passport beyond the time needed for copying is inappropriate and concerning. 4. Balcony locked without prior notice The room’s balcony was locked. When I asked, I was told it was for “safety reasons” – but this restriction was never mentioned at booking or check‑in. A locked balcony can also pose a safety risk in an emergency. 5. Staff unresponsive (playing on phone) When I needed assistance, a staff member was playing on a mobile phone and ignored my request for support. 6. Heavy main entrance door The main entrance door was excessively heavy, making entry and exit difficult, especially with luggage. This is a basic design/maintenance issue. 7. No greeting at check‑out Departure was as impersonal as arrival – not a single “thank you” or “goodbye” from the front desk. Verdict: Poor service, questionable deposit practices, locked amenities, and inattentive staff. I would not stay here again and advise others to consider alternative accommodation.
