Rancho Vino- two master bedrooms

It is spacious and the bathrooms and main rooms are huge. There are two primary bedrooms with their own en suite, which was probably the best part. Three of the four bedrooms were great. We did not have a great experience in the bunk bed room. Kitchen was well stocked with appliances and equipment.

My wife and I stayed in the back room with the bunk beds and we feel it is necessary that people should know that we came home covered in bug bites and a spreading rash. My wife found multiple bugs in her bed the second night there (I call it her bed because we slept separately the second night bc my rash appeared the first night and we thought it could have been contagious). One bug crawling on her right arm woke her up in the middle of the night and when she pulled back the covers, she found multiple more. Yes, she checked before even getting in the bed. We notified the host to give them a heads up but honestly I do not feel confident that they are taking the appropriate actions to remediate. They offered us a discount to “make up for the experience” and when I responded with “thank you for the offer, but you should know that we are still going to write an honest review”, they stopped responding. In fact, they sent a message that I think was meant for someone else. Which is why I felt compelled to write this review. They should not rent this house again until they know for sure things have been resolved.

I loved the amount of space in the house and outside the property. All the rooms were spacious as well. The water pressure was nice and strong

The WiFi was a little slow but I know that’s common with most homes out in the country

The house was fairly large - 4 bedrooms 3 baths and a decent living/dining room and nice working kitchen. It was totally adequate for 7 adult friends. It also came with a nice hot tub behind the house. There was also a game room in the converted garage but we didn’t have time to use it. Plenty of parking too! Property was also out in the country but only 10 minutes from downtown! Some great wineries within 5-10 minutes of property too!

The one thing I can say is change was the 4th bedroom with two queens and upper bunks above… the clearance was super low leaving very little room overhead as one slept… both friends who slept in there hit their heads on the upper bunk. It could be easily fixed by simply removing the bunk or raising it up somewhat…. My other complaint was we had a bit of difficulty keeping the thermostat to stay at a constant 72°. It was constantly changing itself to a lower temp!

It was a modern beautiful house. It had everything that we needed and was comfortable.

Let the housekeeper know that they forgot to start the dishwasher. We arrived to dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Floors were alittle dirty too.
