Het was een aparte ervaring, en de gastheer was erg aardig en behulpzaam. Voor mij was de locatie belangrijk en wat dat betreft voldeed het prima.
Zelf had ik er niet zo'n probleem mee, maar je stapt het huis in van de spreekwoordelijke oudoom die de laatste 50 jaar weinig aan onderhoud of bewuste inrichting heeft gedaan. Het ruikt er muf, het is nogal een uitdragerij, en om eerlijk te zijn denk ik dat 80% van de bezoekers van Booking.com dit niet verhuringswaardig vindt.

Het werkhuis staat midden in een woonwijk. Eenmaal binnen waan je je even terug in de tijd weg van haast en overbodige moderne interieur, gewoon oude degelijkheid. Alles in het huis brengt herinneringen terug uit ergens in je leven of het nu in het huis of de tuin is. Dus gun jezelf eens die "memory-lane". Oh ja....er is een supermarkt in de nabije omgeving.
