Large 3 Bed House - Awsworth - J26 M1 - Ideal for Contractors or Families - Sleeps - 6

Lovely quiet property, spacious and homely. Comfy beds, lovely style and open plan living. Perfect home from home. Free parking nearby, farm shop over the road and a short 4 mins drive to M&S, Tesco, KFC. Several local takeaways close by, one walking distance. Lovely location. Lovely home.

This did not put us off the stay - the stay was fabulous and we would highly recommend. But 2 small things: 1) our baby was rolling toys under the sofa and when pulling them out they were coming out dusty. (Sofa not too large to be moved to clean behind/under and a mop and hoover would get under easily). Some dirt had been missed in some parts of the house, most notably around the radiator pipes in the living room - again only noticed because we spent a lot of time on the floor with our young child. Bathroom and kitchen spotlessly clean. Bedding lovely, clean and fresh. 2) heating is controlled remotely. A few times we were a bit chilly, but used the blankets to cosy up and could message the hosts to have it on as and when needed. The water from the taps does not get hot enough to wash pots because the boiler is preset on low and notes not to touch the boiler in guestbook. Completely understand people can take advantage, so understand reason behind this. But the water for bath and washing up in the sink was barely lukewarm and setting it so low felt a little over the top. 2 small points, but the stay was lovely and we recommend this lovely home. If i am being really picky - guest book said milk provided. There was no milk left for us, but there were plenty of tea bags, coffee and sugar. Also 1 very small detail, we all got a bath towel but there was no hand towel for the main bathroom.
