Rum Bacific camp

Good accomodation in the spherical tent (de Luxe King Room). Kind host (Ahmad), nice jeep tour with him, very good traditional dinner. Heating needed a biť explanation, byť worked perfectly (January).

Absolutely mislieding information on the location on booking.com. It is stated there that the camp is next to the Wadi Rum Village, see attached pictures. IT IS LIE! Camp is in a different location, many kilometers from there, accessible only by jeep. And if you dont take their tours, you will be charged for the transfer to the camp. Quite a lot, so we prefered to cancel already arranged tour from WR Village. We had problem with communication and wasted quite a lot of time there. Accomodation was perfect, dinner and jeep tour too, we enjoyed it, but cca 30 km misleading location information and missing info about necessity and price/conditions of jeep transfer are reason, why it is not 10/10...

The best experience ever! Can't find the words to say how much I love this place! My fourth time at Bacifac Camp and I already miss this place...its tranquility, peace and quiet, the food, the sky full of stars, the sand, amazing sunrises and sunsets, but above all the friendliest and the most hospitable people I have met there. Fisal is a wonderful host, truly devoted to his job, making sure everybody feels welcome. Ahmad who is always so cheerful, as well as other people working there create a really great atmosphere. You can choose from a variety of jeep tours they offer at really good prices. The rooms are very cosy, bedouin style, there is air conditioning and a bathroom. Spending Eve there was an exceptional experience. Lots of beautiful memories. Thank you Bacifac Camp family for another fantastic stay. I am sure I will come !back

Sin duda lo recomendaremos a amigos que vayan a Wadi Rum y volveremos en el futuro. No hemos podido estar mejor, cómodos y sientiendonos como en casa como en este campamento. Las habitaciones son amplias y las vistas al desierto por la noche y al amanecer son increíbles. Sin duda lo mejor de todo es que el dueño del campamento, Faisal, te hace sentir como en tu casa, siempre con una sonrisa, y ayudándote en todo lo que necesites, con sinceridad e intentando que disfrutes de la experiencia al 100%. It included dinner and breakfast. The food was varied enough and tasty, but they were about 30 minutes later than stated start time. They had no napkins, the coffee was instant (not brewed). The place was located in the protected area, so it was quiet and relaxing, and beautiful. Definitely go for the bubble tent!

I felt pressured to buy tours, upon checking in. If you don’t buy one you would have to pay 15 JD per person to be transported to one of their other camps within the protected area. There was a general sense of disorganization in the facility with no real process or specialization of workers. It’s a family-run business, by men who set up meals without thinking whether one would need soup bowls or thicker paper cups for hot beverages or napkins, or providing stirrers for coffee. They tried, but they could use more hospitality education and a homey touch. In their defense, they were trying to do hotel service in the middle of the desert. I’m hoping they will learn as time passes, and I hope they involve some female family members to provide that homey touch you see in hotels that become favorites.
