A comfortable and relaxing place to stay

This was our third visit here. We like the off-road parking, the open-plan sitting room leading to the well-equipped kitchen-diner, and the spacious bedroom and quite spacious bathroom. The back garden, with table and chairs on decking, looking onto lawn and an old apple tree, is great. The town, with two bars is a 15 minute walk away. No doubt we'll be back again.

Exceeded expectations and a most enjoyable overnight stay for business.

Free parking and directly off the motorway, although it is some distance from Mons itself. We needed to be at SHAPE HQ early the next morning and it was less than 10 minutes drive. Unfortunately the weather was heavy rain during the evening, otherwise we could have enjoyed the beautiful and extensive garden. The host, knowing we were English speaking, pre-arranged for the TV to show the UK TV channels - much appreciated. Spacious, tastefully decorated, large bathroom and good kitchen/diner. Very quiet location despite being close to a large industrial site (cement processing works).

The driveway is a bit steep (the host warns about this in advance) which was slightly inconvenient as I have slight mobility issues, but not a problem; just to be forewarned.

Amazing house

Huge and very beautiful house with high standard furniture and utilities. The back yard is amazing. We could not expect better than this. I wish we could stay longer but for sure will come back. Excellent value for money. I highly recomand this house.

A big 'little house' with lovely garden and easy parking

There's absolutely nothing to fault here. The 'little house' is bigger and better equipped than I'd have expected and really has everything you could want for a stay. The location is a curious one but suited me ideally being less than 15 minutes drive from the three things I wanted to see here - Silex's, Strepy-Theux boat lift and the city of Mons. Parking was easy (but read the instructions and don't use the sloping driveway). The whole process is done online so you get the key from a key safe without meeting the owner (hence I find it hard to 'rate' the host) but instructions are clear and communication was very regular with several WhatsApp messages to check that everything was OK. All in all an excellent choice for anyone driving around this area.

A wonderful stay in Havre

Spacious house with a beautiful terace and garden outside, it was equipped with everything I would have wanted (fridge, stove, oven, coffe maker, microwave, washing machine, etc) It is a one bedroom house with a confy living room and a dining area, open space kitchen, and a little space for work (desk and chair in a separate room). I stayed for work one month in January, it was a very good time, but the weather was not so good to enjoy the terrace and the garden. Maybe next time! The owner was great and helpful in providing everything I needed.

A pleasant and comfortable apartment in an interesting location

We were met by our jovial host, chatty, host who showed us around and indicated our parking space, just off the road and a couple of yards from the front door. The apartment itself was warm and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen. Outside, at the back, was a lovely garden with an apple tree and decking with table and chairs and sun loungers. The village was about 500 metres away and had two bars and an unusual chateau with a moat with birds to spot. In the daytime you can go into the courtyard (no entrance fee) where there are information panels about the buildings in three languages- English, French and German. Definitely a nice and interesting place for a stopover or a relaxing weekend.

Sfeervol, comfortabel, rustig, ruim

Het huisje was sfeervol, ruim en goed toegerust. Mooie tuin met terras en ligstoelen. Parkeerplaats voor de deur. De eigenaar reageerde steeds zeer snel.

De locatie. Dit was geen tegenvaller, want de ligging was ons uiteraard bekend. Maar het ligt afgelegen langs een doorgaande weg en je kan niet even naar een bakker o.i.d. lopen. Wel prima uitvalsbasis voor Bergen, de scheepsliften, Paizi Daiza etc.

Einfach nur WOW!

Ich bin schon ein wenig herum gekommen, aber in so einem schönen, perfekt ausgestatteten Haus habe ich noch nicht übernachtet. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet und es ist wirklich alles da. Wenn das Wetter schön ist kann man hinten auf der Terrasse gemütlich sein Bier trinken. Der Vermieter war sogar so freundlich mir mein bevorzugtes Bier bereitzustellen. Es war eigentlich viel zu schade schon nach einer Nacht wieder fahren zu müssen. Jederzeit wieder!

Au Coron des Anges heeft zeker bijgedragen aan onze ontdekkingen in Henegouwen

Wij vonden het opmerkelijk hoe een vakantiewoning zo ruimtelijk en modern kan worden ingericht dat hij van binnen groter lijkt dan van buiten, terwijl toch al het benodigde meubilair evenals de vele huishoudelijke voorzieningen aanwezig zijn en bovendien probleemloos functioneren.

Het is maar net met welke verwachtingen je een vakantiehuis boekt. Wij kwamen bij Au Coron des Anges geen tegenvallers tegen.

Wir konnten per Schlüssel Code hinein, es war der letzte Abend unserer Reise und ein perfekter Abschluss. Alles, mega ausgestattet und ein wunderschönes Haus. Beim Eintreffen haben wir uns sofort wohl gefühlt, es hat an nichts gemangelt. USB Kabel, Kerzen, Badeutensilien, Kaffee, Softdrinks, Wasser und ein wunderbar eingerichtetes Haus haben wir vorgefunden. Würde sofort dort einziehen 😁. Unser Gastgeber war perfekt erreichbar und super nett ( wir haben ihn nicht gesehen, sondern per WhatsApp kurz kommuniziert, er hat gleich gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist- super Service). Das Bad ist riesig, die Dusche heiß, man kann sogar baden und Wäsche waschen. Das Bett ist super bequem ung gross. Super Wlan.Es gibt einen schönen eingezäunten Garten und wir konnten am Abend noch draußen sitzen und hatten sogar Liegestühle. Beste Unterkunft der Reise. Vielen Dank

Achten, sie bei Ankunft nicht hinunter zu fahren, da nur mit Schotter befestigt, aber man kann gut direkt oben parken, fast vor dem Haus

Propriétaire très réactif Proche de tout mais situé au calme... Dès mon arrivée je me suis senti à l aise La place pour ce garer devant la maison On ouvre la porte et la waouh... Propre, lumineux, un petit panier d'accueil avec de l'eau ... Un bureau une belle chambre avec un grand lit.. Un appareil à café Une belle et grande salle de bain avec baignoire et douche ce qui nous laisse le choix... Et le jardin.. 2 transats pour se reposer et profiter de ce magnifique endroit... Je recommande à tout point de vue..

Prima verblijf, zeer schoon en uitvoerig uitgerust.

Een gezellig en prima uitgerust huisje, van alle gemakken voorzien. Zeer schoon, netjes, modern en strak. Een fijne tuin met een terras waar je lekker kunt zitten. Prima douche, bad, keuken. Binnen 10 minuten ben je in Mons, een heel fijne stad met veel eetgelegenheden.

Niets aan te merken, persoonlijk smaak: televisisescherm is een beetje klein, maar daarom wel een enorme keuze aan (NL) zenders.

Le gîte est vraiment très bien...tout est pensé au moindre détail pour que le séjour des hôtes soit agréable ... Un grand jardin est mis à notre disposition Literie très bonne. Le propriétaire a été très réactif suite à notre demande.... Je conseil vivement ce gîte

Juste savoir qu il y a un escaliers pour accéder au coin cuisine et repas pour les personnes à mobilité réduite

Een ontdekking, een aanrader, gewoon boeken en gaan!

Ruim huisje met écht alles erop en eraan, zowel in de ruime keuken als in de grote badkamer, eigenlijk in elke ruimte. Zelfs een tof bureautje is voorzien waar je comfortabel kan zitten of werken. Gezellige woonplaats. Heerlijk bed. Mooie, grote verzorgde tuin. Ligging ideaal om de omgeving en het charmante stadje Bergen te verkennen én om naar Pairi Daiza te gaan. Langs de weg naar Pairi Daiza kom je verschillende supermarkten tegen. Prijs-kwaliteit van het verblijf is echt top. Mijn dochter van 8 jaar en een half en ikzelf keren zeker nog eens terug. Ideaal ook voor alleenstaande ouders. Ontzettend vriendelijke en behulpzame verhuurder.
