At roughly 2.5 acres of surface area and sandy beaches, The Shores Resort Lagoon is the largest private body of water in the St. George area. The lagoon is the perfect place to swim, kayak, paddleboard, and much more! Recreation equipment can be rented on-site, as well as golf carts and cabanas. Two gorgeous resort pools, oversized hot tubs, ample shaded seating, and 10-foot fire tables are just the beginning of the offerings at The Shores Resort. The Desert Color community hosts fun activities throughout the year—like rooftop yoga, kid’s crafts, food truck nights, and even dive-in movies on the big screen at the pool or lagoon. These events are offered on a rotating basis, so be sure to check the Desert Color event calendar for the latest schedule during your stay!

This house has a beautiful layout, great design. The bedrooms all have a good amount of privacy and are well appointed. Bathrooms are lovely. The absolute best thing about this house is it's location in the community. Very short walk to the pool/lagoon and literally 30.ft from the pickleball courts! It's so easy to see if there's an open court and run out. Also really fun to sit on the porch and watch the games each morning and evening. The management company was very responsive via text. There were unfortunately a few downsides at this house/community. It's still under construction so we did have that noise and work going on directly behind us. The lagoon has a mechanical issue and was closed for 2 days but they did offer free rentals as a perk to make up for the inconvenience once it opened again. The primary bathroom shower has a very slow drain. The paddle boards are available but extremely heavy. Even though it's a short walk, it was still very hard to get both boards to the lagoon. Last and most bothersome, we saw several cockroaches. We reported this and the property company came to spray but we continued to see them through the week. Other than that, the property was very clean. Lastly, it would be great if they would change the garage code to the same thing as the front door code. The code wasn't provided which meant every time we came or left, someone had to run around the row of houses to open the front door and run through the house to open the garage.
