About this house rental
About this space
The perfect place to relax in Austin. We are located less than 5 minutes away from South Congress, South Lamar and less than 10 minutes from downtown Austin and UT. We are also only a short 10 minute drive from Austin airport. We are also within walking distance to tennis courts and pickleball courts. After exploring Austin, enjoy taking a relaxing dip in your private pool and prepare home cooked meal in a fully equipped kitchen or BBQ on grill. Enjoy all the comforts of home while traveling!
The space
The house is all yours to enjoy. There is a Roku and Netflix/Hulu for television entertainment (but no cable TV). Each room has an equipped smart TV. The house has high speed Fiber internet/Wifi, so no need to worry about not staying connected.
At your disposal is dream chef’s kitchen that is fully equipped including cooking utensils, spices, blender, and toaster. There is a coffee bar (Keurig) to satisfy your caffeine cravings. Three bedrooms including a master with a king sized bed, walk-in closet and private bath. Two queen bedrooms share a second bath. In the backyard there is a tiny house in back with separate bedroom and bathroom if there are more than 6 people. All bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
Outside you have full use of private pool and outdoor seating area with a grill to satisfy your BBQ needs. The pool has floaties for you and your guests to enjoy.
We've worked hard to remodel and maintain this place and want you to enjoy your stay. Please take care of the place, and let us know if there's anything we can do to make your stay better.
Guest access
You will have access to whole house and backyard. Nothing is shared and you have the space to yourself. If you have more than 6 guests we have a tiny house in the back with room and bathroom.
Other things to note
The management fee located in cost is actually the City Of Austin Hotel Occupancy tax. It does not go to me as I am the owner. Feel free to ask us our operating license number
Cleaning fee includes both house cleaning and pool cleaning as well as maintenance.
Pool is NOT heated.
Please note that we do live in an area by a creek that runs along our backyard and our neighbors do have chickens. Despite our best efforts including paying for pest control monthly and setting traps there are times in the house a cockroach or two may scurry in. We do leave insect spray as well. Austin is notorious for having cockroaches that hard to get rid of - a simple search on the internet will reveal that. We like to be upfront so there are no surprises - it is not an issue of cleanliness but of Austin being in a humid climate.

We loved our stay here! My husband and I traveled for the formula 1 race with some family friends. It was a perfect location - close to South Congress area, not too far from Circuit of the Americas, and near downtown. We loved how easy it was to get anywhere. Backyard was beautiful and the house was cleaner than any rental I have stayed at. Owner was reachable and responsive.
We also really enjoyed using the kitchen! Only complaint is a lack of a couch/sitting area that could fit all six of us besides the kitchen table.

This is a lovely house that has been fully updated and has all of the conveniences. I was born and raised in South Austin, and this house felt like home to me. The backyard with pool, BBQ grill, and access to Bouldin creek was amazing. I gave it 5 stars for everything but cleanliness only because the outdoor spaces are authentic TX with lots of plant, bug, and bird life, so if you're looking for a sparkling clean, sterile patio, this is not for you. But if you want a real Austin experience, it's perfect. And the inside of the house was sparking clean. The hosts were also rapidly responsive to my questions and make a clear effort to ensure their guests are relaxed and comfortable. There's a full spice rack and coffee station with to go cups in the fully stocked kitchen, so no worries if you forgot the coriander...There's first aid supplies, so if your kid scrapes her elbow (as mine did), there's peroxide, antibiotic ointment and bandaids. If you forgot the bug spray or sunblock, it is provided. Even with my high maintenance kids, I never had to run out to the store to pick up something, which is unheard of in my travels, and was infinitely relaxing. Whatever you need...the house provides : ) I cannot recommend this house enough!!!
