The Space:
What makes the "Mandon Retreat" so unique is the attention to detail. We have a wide range of amenities for year round enjoyment. Inside you have a fully stocked coffee & espresso bar, complimentary snacks, fully stocked open concept kitchen, not one but TWO living rooms for groups of many sizes to sprawl out, board games, 50inch Roku TV, TV's in each bedroom (coming soon), a cozy barstool nook which is the perfect work station or quick dining spot, plenty of room for a group of 6-7 with 1 King, 1 Queen, a pull down sofa roughy the size of a full bed, & 1 large twin day bed in the front living room for privacy at night. Outside you have a beautiful deck with string lights over looking the stunning view All-Sports Mandon Canal, a sandy beach area, new dock, firepit, BBQ grill, cornhole, and 2 Kayaks for added enjoyment. The entire home has modern, renovated finishes for a cozy & inviting stay!

Top-notch location situated right in the middle of everything North Oakland County has to offer! What we love about our location is you get the up north Michigan feels, but your SO close to the neighboring suburbs. "Mandon Retreat" is on a short dirt road (approx. 200 yards) with minimal traffic in a quiet neighborhood. Our home is directly on All-Sports Mandon Lake with the canal right in our backyard! 30 minutes (15 miles) to Pine Knob Ski Resort / Amphitheater, 10 minutes (5 miles) to Alphine Valley Ski Resort, 30 minutes (17 miles) to Mount Brighton, 30 minutes (17 miles) to Oakland University, 25 minutes (12 miles) to Pontiac's northern loop of the Woodward Dream Cruise, within 12 miles of 10 Oakland County golf courses, and less than 10 minutes to 15+ water front restaurants and bars!
About Mandon Lake:
The lake is affectionately known as the "Mighty Mandon", because despite its smaller size all sports are permitted.
With a maximum depth of 18 feet, Mandon Lake is fully capable of having skiing or watertubing. Being a smaller lake, it is private, making it a great place to reap all the benefits of waterfront living in Michigan.

had a nice time , property clean and as listed. Beds very comfortable .Host responded quickly to all questions and went above and beyond by giving fishing tips .Kids caught small fish off the dock in back yard but definitely bigger fish in the pond too .

We had a wonderful time staying here! It was about 15 minutes in either direction for a lot of locations we were going to in the area. The amenities were great and at our time of year there was a lot of sticks and such to add to the wood we brought for the fire pit. The water is pretty hard, when we did laundry the clothes we hung dry never stopped smelling metallic and we had to wash again after getting home, but we greatly appreciated there being a washer/dryer and dishwasher with the supplies needed to run them! There were a few spiders visiting inside, which my sister didn't like but didn't bother me. Very pet friendly for the lil doggo we had with us. A wonderful place to stay if you are in the area!
