The Pinewood Retreat was amazing! Exactly as described! Location is perfect and beautiful, the home was very clean and comfortable, exactly what we were looking for a family getaway. Lake wedowee is so clean and the cove the house is in has deep clean water and was very quiet. The dock was easy to get to and the steps on the dock make getting in and out of the lake easy. The beautiful back deck was so nice to sit on with a great view and nice breeze and is shaded much of the day. The kitchen was well stocked and we loved having the grill to cook dinners on. Wedowee isn’t far away and has a Very nice little grocery store if you forget to bring something you need. We loved this home on lake wedowee and plan to visit again, hopefully for a longer stay next year!!

Very nice property. Quiet get away for family. All essentials provided, clean, comfortable layout to visit and for privacy, soft towels, host easy to contact and lots of family games provided. Beautiful sunsets and amazing hiking near by.

We loved the location and our stay here. The tv in the master bedroom didnt have sound but we didn’t really mind since we were outside 95% of the time. Our kids loved swimming in the lake, rolling down the front hill & the swing on the large deck. Owner was very easy to communicate with about repairs that needed to be done. Would definitely stay again.
