Appartamento perfetto e funzionale. Eravamo in 4 e tutti avevano il proprio spazio.

What we most particularly liked were the hosts, Luca and Laura, who, although we never met them, were truly exceptional, providing all necessary, admirably clear instructions well in advance and a very friendly reception from afar. This apartment was booked when we thought we would need two bedrooms. In the event, a third member of our group dropped out at the last minute. But, as the price was reasonable and the location ideal for us – three minutes by car from the Ancona Airport (Aeroporto "Raffaello Sanzio" di Ancona-Falconara) , and with easy, free (street) parking – there was no reason to want to change our booking. There is bed space for four people in two bedrooms (one with a double bed and the other with two single beds), a fine, modern bathroom, a modest, decently equipped kitchen, and a sitting room. I should think that the primary use of this apartment would be for persons with a car, and perhaps a couple of kids, who needed one or more overnights near the airport, although I don't doubt that you could get a taxi. The neighborhood is a bit seedy, but there is an excellent nearby café and a bakery (and perhaps more; we had little time to explore). We were very comfortable in this apartment.

The only thing that we didn't like was the long, steep stairway up to the apartment, which is on the second floor: a challenge for a person like myself, who is 83. However, we left most of our luggage in the car, but out of sight, and were not nervous about it.

De ligging is ideaal om de streek en de omgeving te verkennen. Het inchecken en het contact met de eigenaars verliep heel vlot. Aangezien het zeer warm was, was de airco zeker welkom in de slaapkamers. De slaapkamers zijn trouwens zeer ruim!

Naast de slaapkamers was de zit- en eetruimte eerder beperkt. 4 personen was echt maximaal. Gelukkig hadden we vooraf gelezen dat het ontbijt zich beperkte tot beschuiten met confituur en choco. Wij hebben er niet gekookt want de keuken is zeer basic uitgerust en zou ook een grondige schoonmaak moeten krijgen. Ook de gordijnen hebben nood aan een wasbeurt en de badkamer rook wat muf. Onze slaapkamer kon door het ontbreken van een lat in de verduistering niet worden donker gemaakt. Hou er ook rekening mee dat het niet makkelijk is om in de buurt te parkeren. De straat staat 's avonds echt helemaal vol met bewoners. Het is dus even zoeken!
