The best thing about Tema’e Beach House is its proximity to one of the nicest (perhaps the nicest) beaches on Moorea. You can easily walk there in about 15–20 minutes. Another thing I really appreciated was the sense of calm - the overall ambience truly invites relaxation. Although there is only one bathroom, I never had to wait, even when the house was full. The outdoor space is great for cooking and socializing. Nick keeps the place really clean and well cared for.
On the downside, the tiny mosquitoes were difficult to avoid during night and they really like me :/, the bedroom was very warm, and there was some noise from other guests. To get to the nearest grocery store, you’ll need a vehicle. The only nearby place that was useful for me was the airport restaurant, just a 5-minute walk away, which had a surprisingly good selection of food and drinks.
