Norden Cottage

Location perfect for exploring west Dorset. Situated on a quiet village road with easy access to countryside walks and to coastal road. Cottage was spacious yet cosy, with all necessary facilities.

Some of the decor and furnishings a little tired and in need of refreshing. Access to tv a little tiresome. Channels only available via apps. Time consuming and frustrating. Feel for those visitors who are unfamiliar and do not use tv apps. Surely much more simple to install TV’s with pre tuned channel access.

Beautiful house, which is beautifully decorated in a lovely location. It’s so cosy, we didn’t want to leave!

Beautiful cottage in a pretty location. Really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is well equipped with daily necessities. The fire warms the house great and makes it so cosy. It’s not far to travel to Weymouth sea front, sea life centre and monkey world which are all trips we did during our break. When you turn into church road it is so lovely, all the cottages and homes are so pretty. The church has so much history as well as other historic monuments which you will come across. We loved our stay and look forward to returning again.

As it was a family break and advertised as child friendly, just a couple of things that would have made our stay more relaxing for peace of mind would have been a fire guard (also for pets although we did not travel with pets) and stair gate, there is an additional step at the top of the stairs that worried me if my toddler was to roam in the night as he could have fallen over and down the stairs so I stayed in with him each night just to be sure he was ok.
