Ruim appartement, wel ietsje gedateerd. Goede matrassen en mooi zicht vanop ons balkon (niet alle balkons hadden dit zicht). Onze kinderen (6j en 9j) amuseerden zich in de tuin en speelkelder. Fietsen gratis ter beschikking maar zorg wel zelf voor gereedschap om zadels af te stellen enz. Voor ons was het een goede locatie, veel te doen in de buurt.

Het eten en het personeel. Wij waren de enige buitenlanders, verder waren het allemaal Duitsers. We kregen heel weinig informatie. Bv bij aankomst: "Je sleutel zit op de deur, eten is om 18u, ontbijt van 8u-10u en daar is jullie tafel." Verwacht geen receptie of zo. Als je iets wil, vraag het in de keuken. We lazen vooraf vele goede recensies over het lekkere eten. Wij vonden het niet altijd even lekker. Het ontbijt was gewoon (bv geen gekookt eitje), weinig variatie en op is op. Het avondeten is van 18u tot 19u staat er op een blaadje in de eetzaal. Eerste dag kwamen we om 18u45 aan en werden het nogal onvriendelijk gezegd dat het om 18u eten is want buffet mag maar 1 uur uitstaan omwille van wetgeving ... En dat volg je beter als je warm wil eten en als je van alles wil proeven. Want ook hier: op is op. Alle eten is in buffetvorm: zelf alles halen en zelf je tafel afruimen. Drankjes zelf uit frigo halen en op een blaadje schrijven. Het deed ons nogal denken aan de schoolrefter. Het menu bestaat uit een eenvoudige saladebar, kindergerecht, gerecht voor volwassenen en iets vegetarisch. Het dessert is altijd pudding of yoghurt, eenmaal tiramisu zonder alcohol. Veel op maat van de kinderen dus.

It was a very comfortable holiday. Our kids love the kids club, sometimes there was staff to make them busy (and make the parents relax), but sometimes they can also play free and just use the playroom. The kids club is inside the House, so kids feel safe. They easily found new friends, because the guests are all family with kids (age range 1-11, mine are 5 & 9). The Hotel thinks thoroughly little details for the kids. For example step stools so they can easily access things, like food, drinks, sink. They have potty seats for training, nappy-changing table, baby cot bed, plastic cutlery set, stroller, even lovely kids bed sheets. The parents love the food! Dinner is always delicious and varies. We also had wine tasting from the local wine distributor. We felt relaxed through the Holiday :)

We spend 5D/4N sliding through new year 25/26 here and there was no real new year's eve program from the hotel, BUT the hotel prepared a special and very delicious food for new year's dinner (we found it nice and exceeded our expectations from a half board dinner). That was a sweet gesture from them, we all love the ice cake with sparkle 😊 At the end we just hung out together with the other families and had a small new year party. There was a problem with the booking system at the booking.com, we were told that we booked for two adults without children (we are Level 3 Genius in Booking.com and never had this problem nor this kinda of mistake before). This was not the fault of the hotel and the Staff (Owner) was very helpful, she solved the problem really conveniently and was customer friendly. Just for a hint, if you are booking from booking.com, you might want to double check your booking.
