The location is very close to the entrance of the Pisqually entrance of Mt Rainier park.
It was big enough for our entire group and the main living area was perfect for everyone to hang out with the kids.
I sent 2 messages to the property asking for recommendations to find snow, one on booking and one in an email and never got a response.
There is a note that the deck is not stable and has rotting boards and posts so we weren’t able to use it.
The driveway to the chalet has a couple very steep spots. It was a little sketchy in the mud, I’m not sure we could’ve made it up if there had been snow.
Just for information for future guests (not a complaint) - it has baseboards for heat and once it’s warmed up it’s really warm. We had to open windows and turn them way down because it got pretty hot.
The stairs to the basement are super steep.
There is a sauna that the guys really enjoyed after our snow day.
The beds are pretty firm.
It’s a cool place but needs to be repaired and updated IMO.

Prachtig gelegen lodge, vlakbij de ingang van het nationaal park (scheelt files in het weekend). Ligt op een heuvel tussen de bomen dus veel vogels te zien. Er zijn veel bord spelletjes aanwezig.
De accommodatie ligt afgelegen. Is niet erg maar je moet rekening houden dat je zelf moet koken en, hoewel er een kleine general store in de buurt is. de eerste supermarkt op 40 minuten afstand is. Dat zou men in de info moeten zetten zodat je voldoende eten meeneemt. Er waren maar 9 stoelen voor een groep van 10 maar er is beloofd dat er 1 bijgezet wordt.

The host was very responsive. When the power went out because of a wind storm. They brought up a huge amount of firewood, extra blankets, and lanterns. The power was only out for 3 hours but they made sure we had everything we needed we brought mattresses out to the main room and turned the evening into one big sleepover. We had a great time
Some of the info on the booking site was inaccurate. There are not 7 double beds and 2 twins but rather there were 5 queens and 2 twins. Also, they need to post information about WiFi login either on the house or in the confirmation email.

Large space with great views. Comfortable beds too. 4 guys wanted a place to crash the night before a big hike on Paradise's Skyline Loop trail which required an early start. The chalet met all of our expectations!
It was a very warm day & night. We had to open the windows to cool down the house but there were no screens on the windows. Consequently the bugs go in making it a bit difficult to sleep.
