An Unforgettable Valentine’s Getaway with Friends ❤️ We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful accommodation for our Valentine’s getaway with friends. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. The owners were incredibly warm, kind, and attentive — they checked in with us and asked if we needed any support throughout our stay. Their willingness to help made us feel valued and completely at ease. The house itself is absolutely stunning. It is full of contemporary décor, stylishly designed, and thoughtfully arranged. Every room is beautiful, warm, and inviting. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. One of the highlights was the variety of family games available — they kept us entertained, laughing, and bonding, which made our getaway even more special. It wasn’t just a place to stay; it was an experience. The garden was equally breathtaking, offering a beautiful view and a peaceful atmosphere. It was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the moment together. My friends truly enjoyed every second of it. The warmth of the home, the beauty of the surroundings, and the kindness of the owners made our Valentine’s celebration unforgettable. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special and memorable escape.

The property was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Facilities were great. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms clean. Instructions from host were clear and host was very helpful. Would stay again

Shame the garden was temporarily out of order due to storm damage. Imagine would be lovely to sit out in the summer.

Beautiful vacation in a dream house in England!

Everything was wonderful, exceptional, beyond expectations! The hosts are special people, who always offered to help us, with everything they could! Whenever we go to England, we will be happy to stay in the same house, wonderful! Congratulations on what they have achieved and much success in the future, we wish them, with love! Absolutely beautiful place. So clean and had all we needed there.

We couldn’t get air con to work (probably just us ) and it was a very hot weekend.

Perfect Home Away for Families

Beautifully decorated. Large and spacious bedrooms. Everything that was needed for the stay was there. Filtered tap water. Games for the children to play with. Very clean. Would definitely stay again as we had absolutely no faults with the house and host. Would definitely choose this place over a hotel any day.

Excellent

Great Location !! We stayed at Oakview as we had to visit Colchester Hospital. It's a fantastic place just a couple of minutes’ walk to the hospital. Free parking was a must for us we found hospital parking is extremely expensive. Oakview was a cosy luxury house, a real home from home. Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. Asda supermarket was close, but we ended up using Tesco's woosh service which delivered our grocery shopping in about 20 minutes.
