Spessart Chalet

We liked the well appointed kitchen, the comfortable furniture, off street parking, the shower and the grounds. The terrace was lovely but because of the hot weather and position of the sun we could only enjoy it in the late evening. The location was nice and close to the places we wanted to visit.

The owners had warned us about the front door sticking and gave us tips to get it open. However, each time it took us at least 5 tries to get it open. Then arriving back on a 90’ day the door would not open at all! No sound of the lock clicking! I messaged the owners who responded by asking if we had tried the previously stated tips. The phone number provided didn’t work. Luckily we flagged down a neighbor who called the cleaning lady to come let us in. The owner then asked us to recharge the battery for the lock unit. If the owners knew it was a problem then it should have been dealt with. They didn’t seem empathetic to our plight of being locked out in the heat with groceries about to be spoiled. The left side of the bed was creaking and woke us up every time my husband moved. The door to the master bedroom was not weighted properly and closed into you as you were standing at the armoire. Blinds for the bathroom and entry way windows would be great. Also, if we could recommend handrails for the stairs going to the second floor. It would be easier for older guests.

Es war ein wunderschönes, hochwertiges und liebevoll gestaltetes Ferienhaus. Die Ausstattung war sensationell und wir hatten wundervolle Zeit. Es hat an nichts gefehlt.

Total coole Unterkunft für bis zu 6 Personen. Riesige Terrasse und auch riesiger Garten. Einfach toll.

Das ist jetzt „meckern“ auf ganz hohem Niveau, aber es gibt nur eine Dusche im ganzen Haus. Ein Bad mehr mit Dusche würde nicht schaden.

Wir haben uns in diesem modernen und sehr komfortablen Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefühlt und ein schönes Wochenende genossen. Sehr ruhige Lage, tolle Terrasse mit Blick in die Natur, genügend Platz für 6 Personen. In jedem SZ ein TV, sehr bequeme Matratzen.
