LE BLANC HIDEAWAY

We had exceptional vacation at St. Lucia LeBlanc Hideaway. Our wonderful hosts Sasha and Francis live happily there, love what they do and share beauty and happiness of their home and island with their guests. We got all we expected and even more from our vacation in local caribean style. Ocean view from both units is just stunning and essentially the same. Both units are very well equipped with comfortable beds, upper unit is a bit larger in every respect and has powder and washrooms while lower Bayview unit has one washroom with curtain as a door but we just didn't bother about it. Bayview unit is lower and we liked it more because its deck is slightly closer to trees and palms full of hummingbirds. Very good local Laborie beach with village shops and bars is 20 mins down the road. Steep uphill way back we considered as a great daily fitness excersise. We highly recommend ask Francis about day trips. His knowledge and passion made both our day trips to Soufrière by car and to local rain forest by UTV unforgetable. On the last day we had a wonderful Carribean fish dinner with our amazing hosts which made our overall great vacation truly remarkeble and unforgetable. We are looking forward to be back in Laborie soon.

Absolutely nothing.

The location is gorgeous, and one of the best views on the entire island. The view of the Carribean sea from a backdrop of banana and coconut trees, and the peace is amazing. We really enjoyed the location of the property, and the breakfast outside with that view. Our hosts were lovely and even though we had our own privacy, they were available to support with any questions or help. We would have loved to stay a few more days, but we covered a lot in just 4 days on the island.

We would recommend a door for the bathroom as the curtains separating the bedroom and bathroom do sometimes feel less private. It would also be great to have a softer bed, or a mattress topper to make the bed more comfortable. Most of these were small things though, and overall we had an absolutely great experience.

Sasha and Francis, our hosts, were fabulous.. they treated us like close friends but also respected our space and privacy - nothing was too much trouble and meeting them was a real highlight to our stay in Saint Lucia. The apartment was as exactly as described with fantastic views over Laborie. The pool and social area were an added bonus.

It would be difficult to better our holiday experience at 'Le Blanc Hideaway' and would be very happy to return in the future. The thought of walking up the steep hill from the village was sometimes onerous but we enjoyed the sense of accomplishment and exercise and there was always the offer of a lift if we really needed one - we didn't have a hire car and enjoyed using the local buses.

The view was amazing and the pool was great for a dip anytime. Our hosts were very attentive and helpful. The grounds are very interesting.

It is a tough walk or drive up from Laborie. Interior furnishings could be more comfortable in Apartment 2.
