The location is perfect, just a short, easy (no stairs) walk from the Basilica, with plenty of grocery stores on the way and a great neighborhood restaurant (Belvedere, delicious orecchiette) just around the corner from the apartment. The view is just as glorious as in the photos and would be amazing to enjoy on clear days. And the apartment seems brand new and looks exactly like in the photos. The owner was also so kind to meet us with a car at the bus stop!

While there in January 2026, ~20cm of snow fell overnight. Unfortunately, the heating stopped working (first the water heater had to be turned off in the evening to enable the heating to work, but the heating nonetheless stopped working shortly thereafter). To the owner's credit, they were very quick to come to check it out in the morning and to offer to move us to Casa del Pellegrino and cover the stay and dinner there, and a small refund (because obviously the pilgrims' house is much more bare-bones and cheaper, and we had just dealt with a cold evening and night). So we'd still absolutely recommend this place for a stay spring - fall, but if you want to stay here in the winter, just make sure it isn't during heavy snowfall! (My Mom recommends the very basic Casa del Pellegrino during the winter, because there's a way to walk inside from your room all the way to the basilica, and with an elevator, so it's perfect for when the weather is terrible and there's snow outside and you don't want to go out.)

La comunicazione prima e durante il nostro soggiorno era facile (via WhatsApp). Il proprietario, gentilissimo e molto disponibile, ci ha aiutato a parcheggiare la macchina a due passi dalla casetta. Visto che faceva abbastanza freddo abbiamo apprezzato molto che nel momento del nostro arrivo il riscaldamento era già acceso. La cucina l'abbiamo utilizzata ben poco ma direi che c'era tutto il necessario. La casa in sé è ristrutturata molto bene e arradata con gusto. La vista sul golfo di Manfredonia è spettacolare. Insomma, per noi era tutto perfetto.
