The accommodation is incredible. The pool is such an amazing feature but it’s not the only one. The bathroom is one you could spend hours in. The high end features all around the place are fantastic. The staff are also fantastic. We waited too late to get dinner and there were no cabs willing to come get us, so the manager, who spoke fairly good English, drove us to a local Izakaya she recommended in her personal vehicle. She then helped translate the menu and even arranged a special birthday breakfast for us the next morning to celebrate my partner’s birthday. It was way over and above anything we expected and I wish we could have stayed longer.

The only thing that is a bit of an issue is the distance from restaurants if you don’t have a vehicle. If you have a vehicle, it is a great location! They have a restaurant on site, but it was too expensive for us (~$190cnd/person). That being said, we were grateful for the amazing privacy of being in a more secluded area, and had we been more prepared and come with some snacks or microwave meals, we probably wouldn’t have left the room at all… so trade offs.
