Artgarden Juan dolio

The host, Saulo, made us breakfast every day, simple and good. He's a very cool guy and we talked a lot about everything and he helped me find the grocery shop, fantastic pizza place with real Italian pizzas and exchange. He's got 3 cool dogs. The place is 7min walk from the beach, the beach is ok but nothing special. We had a place to park our car inside the property. The property is full of vegetation and nice ponds with fish, there is a terrace with roof where you can hang out, you have the pool. The style is kind of rustic but not fancy, everything worked but it is a bit smaller than it looked on the pictures, though more than enough space for two people. Kitchen ok, only the knives could have been a bit sharper. Not many mosquitos for a place with so much fresh water (because the fish eat the mosquito larvae).

Watch out for holes in the road if you're traveling with car, manhole covers are being stolen. The place was not that lively when we were there (November), not much else to do ... but as I was not looking for that anyway (wanted to chill) it did not bother me. Warm water sometimes takes a bit longer to arrive.

très mauvais wifi ! pas de service chambre / pas de choses pour nettoyer soi-même . l'emplacement est assez loin ( 10 mn moto ) du village er de la plage public de Juan Dolio .

We have booked the accommodation despite of the fact that the accommodation is a new-comer on Booking.com. And we have won a Jackpot. The place is very quiet yet very close to the beach and some nice restaurants. Saulo is an amazing host with an artistic spirit and the place is nicely decorated with some lovely sculptures neatly positioned in the garden with a pool. We parked our car safely in a small parking lot inside of the property. We also enjoyed the breakfast carefully prepared by Saulo. The atmosphere of our stay was incredible and Saulo has proven to be an excellent teacher of Spanish, too. Highly recommended!

Es war einfach alles an Saolos Unterkunft perfekt 😍... Wir wurden so herzlich begrüßt....wurden sogar weil wir es nicht gleich gefunden haben von ihm im Ort abgeholt und zur Unterkunft geleitet. Der Garten in dem ein wunderschöner Pool ist und ein Pavillon mit Palmendach, ist einfach ein Traum. Eine kleine Oase mit Palmen und Blumen....einfach wunderschön dort dann auch morgens zu frühstücken. Das Appartement wirklich super sauber und so liebevoll und stilvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns dort so richtig wohl gefühlt. Saolos ist ein wirklich Klasse Typ der uns auch so tolle Tipps gegeben hat rund um die ganze Region bzw auch für unsere Weiterreise. Er ist wirklich einzigartig und wir werden beim nächsten Aufenthalt im der Dominikanischen Republik wieder zu ihm gehen. Wir sagen von Herzen Danke für Alles 💫🙏💫 Nadja und Florian
