The owners make you feel like a guest in their own home and the pride in their place shows through in their attention to detail. The finish is lovely and even the plants in the garden look well tended to, although it was in the middle of a massive heatwave! Adding home-baked goods to the breakfast is such a nice touch, as is having the owners themselves cook you a fresh breakfast there and then. Talk about home from home! But then the room facilities are everything you would expect from a larger hotel. The best of both worlds.
At the time of my visit there were road works on the street. Cars etc were dusty but despite that, Casa Maria Pia was spotless. And I know first hand how hard that can be, even if I hadn’t personally witnessed them hard at work. I’d rebook the same place on future visits and gladly recommend it.

We enjoyed how quiet and clean the place was. Breakfast was well catered for as well.
