Queens Avenue Apartment

If I could give more than 10 points , I would. Top location in a posh and safe area, close to everything, 2 minutes away from the tube station. Extremely clean, brand new and comfortable with all possible amenities incl blackout blinds, attention to all details and treats on arrivals. Rare hospitality and support by the owner - thanks a million for everything!!! The flat is a half level underground, which for me was a big advantage as I even didn't switch on the con in the hottest August days. I definitely found my place in Athens :)

The location was very convenient, as the apartment is located 3' walk from the M1 line (Station Megaro Mousikis), which gets you directly to the airport and the city center. You can also walk to the city center as it is only 15-20' and you are directly to some of the most important monuments of the city (Kallimarmaro stadium, Lyceum of Aristotle, Stiloi Olympiou Dios, Zappeio etc.). The apartment was very comfortable and very clean. We even got the opportunity to check in a bit earlier. There was also a small welcome with some chocolate waffles, water and juice. Near the apartment there are multiple bakeries and cafes so you could get anything you need.

The fact that it is semi-basement doesn't help with the air quality as you have to keep the windows open a lot to get fresh air. The apartment is located on a main avenue which is very busy but it wasn't so loud (I am a light sleeper and didn't have an issue sleeping). There was a weird noise during our stay which we found out afterwards came from the boiler. We closed the doors and it didn't bother us.

They don’t show you your room beforehand and I was very disappointed that I was in a room with no balcony and no view , it felt more or less like I was trapped inside
