The Dutch Inn -Galle

Very nice family ran homestay, we really enjoyed our time here. We had the home to ourselves and the family was right next door. It was a short drive into the main town and into the fort. Breakfast was home cooked, abundant (literally the 5 of us couldn’t always finish it!) and delicious. Pool was lovely too

A few minor improvements in the bathroom would go a really long way! There is one bathroom that is quite nice, but the other needed a few adjustments.

Absolutely lovely.....our host Kushan was brilliant and on a personal level we wish him and his family a long,happy and rewarding future for everyone...👍

The stay was pleasant - especially because of Kushan & his wife Thimalsha. They both helped and assisted in every way. The villa great if you love to experience a historic, colonial heritage building. It is comfortable with regards to MUCH SPACE and many rooms and a clean little pool and AC. However, it definitely needs a lot of improvement and investment to meet contemporary standards. We liked it.

The hosts were very accommodating and prompt.

The house has so many open gaps we were constantly chewed by mosquitos. The family areas were very hot, with only 1 fan. The whole house smelled musty, closed up and of sewage. The kitchen was full of sugar ants in and on everything. We had many visits from cockroaches. The entire villa is old, tired and needs to be painted and scrubbed top to bottom. The owner is in the process of installing a soak pool just off of the veranda. This will be nice.
