Location was great - it is on a quiet (for Italy) street and an easy walk into Sorrento Centre and to the train station. The apartment is on the second floor (there is a lift to help get from 1st to 2nd floor). There is a spacious balcony. The apartment had everything we needed. The mattress was noticeably firm yet we found it comfortable.
There is a company running dance classes in the apartment block basement and the noise is intrusive from 4pm until 10pm (sometimes later). Noise in the communal area was also intrusive (especially people coming and going from the dance classes), especially banging of the entrance door - this could potentially be resolved by installing a soft close mechanism. The front security door to the apartment block was sometimes wedged open to allow dance class attendees access, which is a safety issue. If the noise issue was rectified, we would definitely return to this apartment.
