Gemütliche Unterkunft in Heckinghausen Wuppertal nahe der Schwebebahn

This was a spacious apartment which I appreciated, as although I was a solo visitor, I spent 9 nights there. The bed was very comfortable as was the sofa. Everything worked well, well done for having secure WiFi. There is a caretaker on sight who is helpful for small questions. Good through ventilation is possible as there are windows with good quality mechanisms on both sides of the building. It's about a 10 minute walk to the trains, mainline or the famous suspended railway. There is an Aldi supermarket about 5 minutes away. I think there are normally plenty of parking spaces, many were hidden by building work to a neighbour - this is almost complete.

I arrived in a heatwave and the apartment was baking hot. One floor standing fan was kindly provided. With increasingly hot summers, two more fans would be an improvement to circulate the air in different rooms. While the apartment is in good condition, the building needs refurbishment, the stairs in particular are crumbling. Having booked 7 nights, I needed before arrival to add 2 more nights. I went through the process and Booking.com showed me a proportionate price but when I accepted that offer, the cost nearly doubled. In the end I paid it. Neither Booking.com or the owners could explain the price difference issue which left me a bit uncomfortable.

Für unseren Besuch in Wuppertal sehr gut gelegen. Die Wohnung war so, wie sie auf den Bildern dargestellt wurde. Sehr großzügiges Badezimmer. Insgesamt gute Ausstattung.

Ein paar mehr Teller wären schön gewesen. Leider war der Parkplatz abends sehr voll, sodass wir auf der Straße parken mussten.

Sauber und schön eingerichtet. Sehr nettes Personal. Hunde freundlich. Alles sehr nah zu erreichen sei es einkaufen oder essen gehen/ holen. Badezimmer sehr schön. Von der Wohnung aus schnell überall hin z.b. auch Wanderwege, Stauseen oder die anderen Städte. Bus und Bahn auch in der Nähe.

Ein Backofen wäre noch schön und eine Spülmaschine.. Die Wohnung ist ebenerdig aber für jemanden mit Einschränkungen sollte erwähnt werden das Stufen im Eingangsbereich sind. Außenanlage könnte gepflegter sein.

Sehr saubere und gemütliche Wohnung. Hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Check in und Check out lief reibungslos. Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber jederzeit freundlich und entgegenkommend. Gerne wieder. Parkplätze sind vor dem Haus was ein großer Vorteil ist.

Lage nicht die schönste, hierfür kann der Gastgeber aber nichts.
