Great location, walking distance to Ala Moana Shopping Centre. Rooms were clean and spacious, and I loved having water and ice on the floor (handy for my knee injury). Pool and gym were clean and roomy, and the staff were friendly. The free shuttle to Waikiki every 2 hours was super convenient. Only downside was no buffet or continental breakfast on site. Otherwise, an excellent stay—would definitely return!

Modern facilities. Comfortable. Proximity to many eating places, including Walmart and other supermarkets. Two swimming poos including lane swimming. 2 hourly free shuttle service to Waikiki and other beaches nearby.
There is $48 resort fee plus other taxes in addition to your room rate. The resort fee includes meals up to the value of $48 per day.
Tipping is expected, between 15 to 20%. Reasonable fridge, where you can keep fruits and other items from supermarket. Overall, we enjoyed the peace and quiet with the freedom to go in to Waikiki's busy streets when we chose to. Price is steep with NZ currency, but it was worth it as we managed our costs by making our own bfasts and sometimes lunch...which was a lot healthier too!. Great place to stay. *** the concierge and *** at reception were always helpful. Mahalo!

We had an amazing stay at the Renaissance for our honeymoon in Hawaii!!
The hotel is brand new, and so the facilities are nice and clean, rooms are beautiful, and we got an upgrade to a partial ocean view room. Having an ofuro in the hotel and a free shuttle to and fro Waikiki were great plus factors for us too!
Special mention to Mindy who checked us in and gave us the upgrade, as well as a lovely handwritten note and a bottle of wine - these small touches really made our stay <3
