Solid Rock Ranch met our needs as a group of 12 (7 adults, 5 kids). Renee was great! She was very responsive and accommodating.
The house has a large kitchen with a huge refrigerator and separate freezer. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, although it's a haphazard collection with all different styles and types. There's plenty of cookware to serve a crowd. The livingroom is somewhat small and couldn't seat all of us. The only other communal areas were the two dining tables. The downstairs has a large, empty room, that was previously used as an office. It could easily be made into another den or living area.
There are 4 bedrooms with bathrooms attached and 2 bedrooms that share a bathroom. All the bedrooms are large and roomy, but the attached bathrooms are tiny. You have to squeeze around the door to get past the sink. The fans in the bathrooms don't work, but they do have small windows that open. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms but most made noise when running at medium or high speed. A couple of the rooms were supplied with box fans.
The house needs some general maintenance -- issues with the lighting not working, some of the window blinds didn't work, kitchen countertops were loose, etc. Some of the furniture needs to be repaired, replaced, refinished.
Be aware: The house is listed for 12 people, but there is an extra charge if there are more than 10 in your group. I don't think it's meant to be deceiving, but should be more transparent.
