The seasonal winds south to west winds that blow in winter hit our campsite directly
However they dont blow every day only strong winds occur about once a week and you can check the forecast in advance
When the wind isnt blowing the area is warmer than other regions making it a pleasant and peaceful place to camp
We are accepting reservations as usual so you can enjoy the ultimate camping experience
Please be sure to check the wind forecast carefully before making a reservation or visiting

Firstly, I was a dumb foreigner and had it in my head that I could check in for the campsite whenever. So I was driving down from Mishima and stopping at all the BookOffs I could not even thinking about the time. The site got a hold of me by email and I stopped goofing off and jetted down there, the onsite employee kept things open an hour and half late so I could get checked in. So I'm super thankful for these guys' level of service. Absolutely fantastic. The site itself was great. I had booked this specifically for dark skies to try and get some milky way photography. Sadly, the one night I was there was a huge rain storm, but that didn't change the comfort at all. Listening to the rain pelt the roof all night was actually quite relaxing. Great bath and comfortable beds as well. The morning brought some amazing clear sky sunrise views over the ocean though. Despite not getting the photos I hoped for, it was still a great stay. Highly recommend.
