Welcome to The Spotted Sandpiper Cottage! Our spacious 2,600 square foot. 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath home is the best of both worlds, tucked away on a quiet street but also in the heart of the West Cape May restaurant district. This centrally located, and updated cottage is 1.5 blocks from popular West Cape May restaurants, a short 10 minute walk to the Washington Street Mall, bird sanctuary and Cove Beach or a quick bike ride to Beach Plum farm, wineries, the lighthouse, and Sunset beach. You can even see the ocean at a distance from the second floor windows on a clear winter day and hear the ocean on quiet summer nights! We are located across the street from the bird sanctuary. Park in the paver driveway with room for up to 4 cars and relax on the enormous wrap around porch. Four bedrooms that can easily accommodate up to 11 guests with 2 King beds, 1 Queen and 5 Twins all located on the second floor. Generously sized, fully equipped kitchen with granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and plenty of seating. Two large living rooms, one with a gas fireplace for cozy nights playing board games with friends and family after a long day. Outdoor shower, grill, fire pit, patio, beach chairs, beach tags, beach toys, two zone HVAC, WIFI, and smart TVs. We have availability year-round and are the perfect location for your spring break or summer vacation as well as the Fall bird migratory season, the West Cape May Christmas Parade and all the holiday activities in town! We welcome all dogs, without breed or size restrictions because you shouldn’t have to leave any of your family members at home. Beautiful house! Great location, close to everything. Each room was comfortable and cozy. The extras for pets and small children were perfect. Toy/games selection, baby gates, kid friendly plates/cups, etc. Lots of dog toys, bowls and clean up bags. All the brochures for restaurants and things to do were helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful home close to everything Cape May has to offer! Home was spotless. Decorations and furniture were lovely. Dani was an awesome host and very easy to communicate with. House had everything you need for a wonderful stay. Loved being able to bring our grandpup on the long weekend as well. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and new bathrooms were beautiful. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

This property is one of the nicest pet friendly homes we have ever rented! It was pristine clean, beautifully decorated, fabulous gathering spaces, a very well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, a working fireplace, a lovely front porch, and a private fenced in back yard. The location in West Cape May was perfect. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, but a 12 minute walk to the beach, 15 minutes to restaurants and town for shopping and sightseeing. Historic Cape May is a very charming town We will definitely be back!

Tasteful decor in a spacious, pet-friendly home in a lovely neighborhood. With the exception of sheets and towels, this place has everything needed for a family getaway and it is super clean. It was great for our three generations (must be able to navigate stairs). Especially enjoyed evenings by the gas fireplace. Many games, many hangers, comfortable furniture!
