The second property was close by, so we retained a close proximity to our relatives apartment, apartment was very clean and ideally located on a very nice gated compound which made us feel very safe. The apartment had all of the necessary facilities that you would expect.
The first property had a couple of issues - no towels, a leaking air conditioning unit, windows that didn’t lock correctly (this was a ground floor apartment) and it had a strong smell of smoking.
The fact that we had to move apartments at a couple of hours notice didn’t go down well with my wife.
At times the security staff at the compound could be a bit overly officious
