JOY & House

The location was great for us as we were meeting family nearby. The house was clean and comfortable.

The worst thing was the complete lack of communication from the host on the day we were due to check in. We were given the code half an hour late, which would have been fine if they'd warned us. Instead all messages were ignored so we were beginning to wonder if we'd been scammed. Apart from that the house is looking a bit tired and in need of maintenance, but is otherwise comfortable. A second tea towel would have been helpful. The parking space is not at all obvious, we had to ask.

It was much larger than expected , very comfy and well equipped

Parking was a nightmare. Only space for one car. Which you have to find once in the property. But the photo looks like you have room for parking outside the front door! Had to pay for parking at the station for other cars. Had to phone for the key box code. Bins were overflowing by the front door. Tv wasn't working. No bedside tables or a lamp. No hot water in the ensuite!
