Corner Penthouse in Acropolis

The penthouse apartment was a great option for our family. We were impressed with the style and the cleanliness of the apartment. The beds were comfortable, the 2 separate bathrooms were appreciated, and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking supplies. The outdoor deck was a nice setting for eating and socializing. We appreciated the access to the washing machine and drying racks to complete loads of laundry. The penthouse location is close to the metro which allowed for easier travels to the various sites in Athens. We were able to walk to many of the museums, the archeological sites, restaurants, and shopping areas. Upon arrival we were welcomed by an individual who provided us with the keys to the apartment and provided general information about the apartment. Our stay was very pleasant. We we would be happy to return to stay in the penthouse during additional trips to Athens.

We had no concerns during our stay. There were several air-condition units in the apartment. The main living room/dining room area air conditioner unit worked well but did take a little of time to cool the room. The bedroom air-conditioning units worked very good. So not really a concern, just an observation.

Lovely spacious, clean and well equipped apartment. Recently refurbished to a high quality. George the owner, met us on arrival to show us around the apartment and tell us about the local area. The area itself is perfectly positioned, close to the Acropolis and a short walk into Plaka, without being in the hustle and bustle. Great restaurants and shops within 100m. Would recommend and happily stay again.

The only improvement would be the addition of a double socket by each bedside table so the bedside lamp and a phone charger could be plugged in at the same time.

Tolle Unterkunft, man merkt, dass die Sanierung erst 2024 war, es wurde an alles gedacht. Der Vermieter war hat uns gleich zu Beginn durch das Viertel geführt und uns diverse Tipps gegeben. Wir konnten ihn während unseres Aufenthalts immer kontaktieren, wenn wir Insidertipps für Athen und Umgebung brauchten.
