About this house rental
We live in a rural area that is very safe, quiet,, peaceful, and relaxing. People here are very friendly and helpful.
The house and property has been in the family for around 200 hundred years. The surrounding are beautiful and has a cave in the back yard that provided refrigeration for the family . There is still the remains of the old hand water pump and cold storage area is still intact.

We loved staying at this historical home away from home. The house is full of nice touches and antique furniture, large rooms and beautifully staged. The kitchen is well equipped. We loved the rural get away from it all location, yet is just 90 minutes from Lexington. Gwen was wonderful, very responsive and helpful. Very much a caring host.

I stayed in a beautifully restored and cared for historic home with character! The skeleton key door knobs on some of the doors reminded me of a time since past as well as the ornate designs of the woodworking when things were done by hand rather now by silly machines with no character (or sense of one).It is easy to see and feel the property has been cared for with love...it is felt within the home.I saw the Daffodils starting to emerge for the Spring.
