** The Pelican Watch building is undergoing a building-wide construction project that will likely last throughout the summer of 2026. The HOA has given the following statement, but please contact our office with questions.
"Pelican Watch is undergoing extensive renovation this year, and construction crews are on site Mon-Fri, 7:30AM-5PM. During these times, noise, debris, dirt, and dust will likely be experienced. Unfortunately, the outdoor pool will be closed due to safety concerns, and direct access to the beach may be limited at times. The indoor pool will remain open, and the beach can still be accessed via the town parking lot next to the building." **
Get ready to spend your days enjoying breathtaking ocean and island views at Pelican Watch 501! This wonderful property in the Pelican Watch tower in Carolina Beach has everything you'll need to enjoy a stress-free vacation, and as an end unit, the property has extra windows along the North end which offer views all the way down the island! The spacious 3-bedroom/2 bath unit has a king bed, a TV, and private bathroom in the master bedroom, a queen in the second bedroom and two twin beds in the third bedroom. There's also a shared bathroom in the hallway. The kitchen has been updated with new appliances and was redone to allow a better flow throughout the living space.
Pelican Watch also offers guests an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi, sun deck, private beach access, and an area to grill and picnic. This is a wonderful location near shops, restaurants, the Carolina Beach Board Walk, and the Lake. It is a place the entire family will enjoy and want to visit year after year.

We love Pelican Watch! Far enough from the busy area but close enough to go out if we want to.

Nicely updated condo, stocked with all the essentials and within walking distance to restaurants . Right on the ocean and the balcony is the perfect spot to watch the fireworks from . My only critique would be that the master bedroom does not have a TV and there is not any closet to hang your clothes .With the exception of a small catch all closet in the kids room.

the main room furniture was not comfortable, the queen size bed was to soft and the air flow was cold in main bedroom and other 2 bedrooms were not cool.
