From time to time, you may notice a friendly face—there’s a separate private suite located behind the duplex, and our garage is used only by staff for operations. Rest assured, we deeply respect your time and space. Our team is always nearby if you need us, but we’ll never intrude on your stay.

We always have a great time when we stay at The Retreat. It is clean and comfortable. There are restaurants and shops nearby and the downtown area is about 10 minutes away. We look forward to our next stay there.

The property is very well maintained and there are a couple of good casual restaurants in walking distance. Communication with owner was excellent. Perfect for two couples or a family to share. Only downside was a bit of road and neighborhood noise.

Our stay at the Retreat was terrific. The unit was clean and comfortable ...just as advertised. The host was very responsive. The outside area is very unassuming -- a gravel parking lot on a main street -- but we felt quite safe. The location is about a 20 minute walk from the waterfront and downtown and there's a great breakfast restaurant about a block away.

We thought it was a closer walk to downtown. Guest bed very hard and uncomfortable. Otherwise cute place.
